Directing
I love directing. My first play was a comedy I directed in college. Since then, I made funny internal videos at work and silly sketches with friends. I got more serious about film in 2022 when I took the continuing education program at The School of Visual Arts. This was an excellent education that expanded my knowledge of cinematography, directing, film production, and editing. Now, I'm looking to hone my craft through projects like the one you see below.
New Dad
90s rap video. That was the jumping-off point for this music video, but it evolved into much more. All of the shots of J-CA$$ rapping were based on actual music video shots from The Beastie Boys and N.W.A. What I enjoyed most was that our own personalities and sense of humor were added to the piece, especially the dancing dads. It was a lot of work, which required me to make hundreds of decisions from the moment I signed on until launch. In the end, this is just a fun video for anyone who knows or has become a dad. I hope you enjoy it.
